an unabashed look on life
a theatre-choreography by Paul Röttger
“As a child, I already had a fascination for squares. Almost every village has a square. Around it are the church, the newspaper store, the city hall. You bump into each other on that square, everybody has to pass over it. To the city hall to get married, to the church to be buried, to the food store to eat. Every aspect of life is present on a square.” – director Paul Röttger.
Piazza della vita got great reviews. Theaterkrant called it “an inclusive feast of recognition”, Trouw called it “a choreography that leads you through every big moment in life.”
